Dear Colleagues and Doctoral Students,
We are pleased to announce the launch of the first EUMMAS Doctoral Colloquium, which will take place in September 2026 in Paphos, Cyprus, as part of the 19th Annual EuroMed Academy of Business Conference.
The EuroMed Academy Conference is a well-established international and multidisciplinary academic event that brings together around 250 delegates from all over the world each year. Building upon this strong academic platform, EUMMAS is introducing a dedicated doctoral colloquium designed to support the development of early-stage researchers.
Purpose of the Docotoral Colloquium
The inaugural EUMMAS Doctoral Colloquium is conceived as a pilot initiative aimed at:

providing doctoral students with an international forum to present and discuss their research,
-
receiving structured feedback from senior academics and experts,
-
facilitating networking and mentoring opportunities,
-
strengthening cooperation between universities and research institutions,
-
laying the groundwork for the future establishment of a permanent EUMMAS Doctoral Colloquium.
Format and Participation
The EUMMAS Doctoral Colloquium will be organized on the first day of the EuroMed Conference and will include:

presentations by PhD students,
-
feedback sessions with experienced scholars,
-
thematic research panels,
-
networking opportunities for doctoral candidates and supervisors.
Who Should Participate?
This call is open to:
-
PhD students at any stage of their doctoral studies,
-
early-stage researchers preparing for doctoral enrollment,
-
supervisors and academic mentors interested in supporting doctoral development.
We warmly encourage doctoral students and their supervisors to take part in this new initiative and contribute to the creation of a vibrant international doctoral community.
