Dear colleagues,

due to the new circumstances and the conflict that we are currently witnessing in Europe, whose end and the outcome cannot be predicted, and to avoid further and additional costs for both the Association and the participants, as well as to enable all our colleagues, especially those affected by the conflict to participate together with us in this event, we have decided to postpone the Conference until the end of the conflict. The new date will be announced and shared to you once the situation calms down. This decision is really difficult for us, especially after two years of inability to organize such an event, but we believe that it is better to avoid uncertainty and possible inconveniences and postpone the conference for a while than create additional problems and expenses for the Association and participants.

About the Conference

EUMMAS A2S Conference on Global Social and Technological Development and Sustainability is organized by the EUMMAS Academic Consortium comprising of 26 universities and business schools from 21 countries. The event is going to be organized as an Academe2Society (A2S) EUMMAS Concept Conference (previously A2B) formulating a unique and innovative approach in cooperation between Academia and Society. EUMMAS 2022 Conference theme is ”Complexity of New Global Challenges – Rethinking Cooperation among Academia, Businesses and Policy Makers’

The following rules apply:
        • Paper length is 5000-6000 words.
        • Abstract length is 300 words maximum, including key-words.
        • Submitted papers must not have been previously published and if under review, must not appear in print before the Conference.
        • Each paper can be submitted to one track ONLY.
        • Authors’ identifying information, including acknowledgements from the text, addresses, affiliation must be removed from the document. If submitted with author information, the paper will be deleted.
        • Submissions are allowed only through the submission form. Papers received via email will not be accepted.
        • No changes can be made after the submission.
        • Multiple submissions are accepted. You can submit only one paper as a First/Corresponding author. First authors have to attend the conference and present the paper.
        • The language of presentation is English (accept for the sessions held in the official  language of the host institutions).
        • Only submissions in English will be accepted (even for the sessions held in the official language of the host institutions).

You will be able to publish your paper in the Conference Proceedings (eISSN) or some of our ACI journals. We invite you to learn more about terms of publishing before selecting your desired journal. After reviewing your paper we can recommend a journal for you but the final decision is yours. Please note that there are some differences in author guidelines. for each journal, and you may need to make some adjustments before sending it. Also, note that some journals are free while the others charge certain amount for publishing. Publishing costs are not included in the conference fee. Publishing in the Conference Proceedings is free. Available journals:

CANCELLATIONS
  • All cancellations must be requested by email dubai2023.eummasconference@skylineuniversity.ac.ae
  • Phone cancellation is not accepted.
  • Cancellations received within 30 days after the payment is made to the University are eligible for 50% refund.
  • No refund will be processed for cancellations received on or after 30 days.
  • No refund will be given to virtual delegates.
  • The registration refunds must be processed within 30 days after the end of the conference, bank charges and administrative costs will be deducted from the refund
Academic nominations are done by the Editorial Board.  Nominations, individual and institutional, for Business and Public sector can be done by anybody. Self nominations are also allowed. The independent Nomination Committee will make a decision based on the information provided in the Nomination Form.

EUMMAS Doctoral Colloquium

The EUMMAS Doctoral Colloquium (EDC) provides doctoral students the opportunity to present their work, and network with their peers and colleagues. The EDC is a two-day program and precede our conferences. Doctoral students can attend the conference as well, and on the fourth day meet business representatives and potential employers.

Doctoral students at any stage of their studies and doctoral thesis development are welcome for participation.

The Doctoral Colloquium program is designed as a strong blend of theory, its application and detailed feedback for all doctoral students presenting their research. This event becomes an excellent opportunity to present to top researchers the status of the research or doctoral projects, fostering open discussion and feedback that consolidate the research.

Working language is English.

To apply, you need to send:

  1. A minimum two-page extended outline (references not counted) of the research proposal. Maximum length 1500 words. The abstract should be divided into the following headings:
    • Objectives/Aims/Relevance
    • Literature/Theoretical background
    • Approach/Method
    • Results/Findings
    • Implications
    • Value/Contribution 
  2. CV,
  3. a letter of motivation,
  4. a letter of recommendation,
  5. recent photo

Accepted candidates will be allowed up to 20 minutes for their presentation followed by a feedback discussion.
