About the conference

The Research Center for Sustainable Rural Development of Romania (CCDRDR) within the Romanian Academy – Timișoara Branch, with honor invites you to participate in INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ”TENDEV 2023″ which will take place during the October 19-20, 2023, at Romanian Academy – Timișoara Branch, 24 Mihai Viteazu Bv., Timisoara, Romania.

 

Conference description

                The conference has a multidisciplinary character, and addresses fundamental and forward-looking issues in various fields related to sustainable development that involves ensuring simultaneously economic development, environmental protection and social welfare.

The first edition of the conference will take place between October 19-20, 2023, entitled: “Challenges and strategies for sustainable development facing the climate change”.

Climate changes are among humanity’s biggest global challenges as a major problem for sustainability. For the strategies’ implementation it is important to acknowledge the challenges and the opportunities for climate change adaptation, the aim of the conference targeting open debates involving all fields of specialty.

The conference will take place in plenary and in specialized sections, with the following main themes:

  1. Sustainable development;
  2. Circular economy;
  3. Regional development;
  4. Environmental economics and policies;
  5. Food safety and security;
  6. Common Agricultural Policy;
  7. Rural development;
  8. Smart farming;
  9. Agricultural management and marketing;
  10. Tourism;
  11. Consulting and extension;
  12. Local cultural values in a European context;
  13. Interdisciplinary cultural practices.

September 18 th, 2023 Communication of acceptance of abstracts
October 16 th,  2023 Deadline for sending papers in extenso to: contact@rurdev.eu
October 19-20 th, 2023 Presentation of the papers during the conference
November 11th, 2023 Deadline for submitting the final (accepted) version of the paper to: contact@rurdev.eu

The papers presented at the conference will be published, after evaluation and review, in English, in the Conference Proceeding, that will be submitted for evaluation and inclusion in Conference Proceedings Citation Index by Clarivate, Web of Science.
